Rabobank Cijfers & Trends (Figures and trends of Dutch trade and industry)
For more than thirty years the Dutch Rabobank offers access to brief but terse analysis of Dutch trade and industry. Rabobank Group is comprised of independent local Rabobanks plus Rabobank Nederland, their central organization, and its (internationally based) subsidiaries. The 161 independent local Rabobanks, which have a staff base of nearly 29,000 people, form the densest banking network in the Netherlands.
Besides the sector studies in Dutch language (listed below), you might want to consider checking the international website of the Rabobank for research studies in English language. The Dutch language website provides access to pdf-documents covering nine sectors and eighty different lines of business. The following sectors are covered: industry, building, wholesale and retail trade (both food and non food), the hotel and catering industry (including recreation), transport and services.
Each sector study (approximately 3 pages) is written in a uniform way, enhancing the accessibility. An overview of current trends and developments, possible threats and opportunities, a forecast as well as current figures are provided. Each sector profile is illustrated with graphics on key figures and also lists the important trade journals and sector organizations where more information can be obtained.
